The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rohani, spoke at the program “60 Minutes”, on CBS, stating that has been made “the first steps of Tehran and Washington to reduce the hostility” between the two countries, despite the persistence of a “lack of trust” that will soon disappear.
Are we proceeding toward the expansion or the decreasing of enmity? – Has asked the Iranian president responding to an interview -. I think we have taken the first steps for the reduction of this enmity”, which would be a consequence of the agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue. Rohani has however admitted that, despite this agreement, “the distance, the disagreements and the lack of confidence will not disappear immediately”, but it will take some time.
